High Definition, 300m rated ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle)
The benefits of using an ROV capable of viewing and recording live 1080p video are many and include
Unlike other companies offering high definition, our ROV provides uncompressed, raw 1080p footage directly to the 19 inch full colour display, where we can then record directly onto portable hard drives, as well as sending the HD signal to a secondary screen such as a large LCD TV for our clients to view.
Most of our competitors attach a GoPro or similar "HD" camera to their existing ROV, which can only capture heavily compressed HD footage. The footage also cannot be viewed until the ROV has returned to the surface, cannot zoom in onto areas of interest, cannot tilt 180 degrees to capture moving targets, and does not have powerful LED lighting to illuminate the subject.
- real time analysis by qualified scientists, engineers, mechanics and commercial divers,
- increased confidence by professionals to make the correct decision based on the video footage,
- increased accuracy in assessments of underwater structures,
- ability to confidently identify marine and freshwater species based on visual characteristics,
- able to zoom up to 240x to closely examine areas that may be difficult to get to due to confined spaces, obstacles or operating machinery.

Our ROV systems are designed for use in multiple applications and operations. Using a modular, open frame design, the remote operated vehicle hosts all the standard items required of an inspection class ROV while still having room for tooling and sensor expansion. The vehicles are lightweight and can easily be deployed, retrieved, and transported.
We have developed a strong knowledge base of technical and practical problem solving and with the experience of our staff and strategic partners are able to provide innovative solutions to achieve project outcomes. We carry $20 million public and product liability insurance.
ROV Innovations have on staff qualified Marine Biologists, Commercial Divers, Marine Biosecurity Inspectors, and engineers to provide a complete range of solutions and services. We have workshop premises and teams located in Queensland, with the ability of rapid deployment anywhere within Australia or overseas.

High Resolution Scanning Sonar.
Our Kongsberg MS1000 hi res scanning sonar can be used in multiple different sonar modes such as 360 degree scanning, sector scanning, side scan, echo sounder, as well as 3D point cloud generation. It allows us to collect extremely precise underwater measurements and map underwater structures even in zero visibility.
Typical uses for our hi resolution sonar are -
