Inspection of Potable Water and Deluge Tanks
Clean drinking water is essential for life and that means wells, reservoirs and storage tanks must be well maintained and undergo regular inspections.
Our advanced ROVs are involved in the potable water, and fire suppression industries performing a vital role in tank maintenance, and can stay submerged for hours or days until the job is done. Depending on client needs, the ROVs can be coupled with added inspection tools such as ultrasonic thickness meters and manipulator arms (grippers), and can be used when customers cannot take the water tank or reservoir out of service for human inspection.

All of our tank inspections (both potable water and fire deluge) come complete with a full suite of high resolution photos, high definition videos, and full written report. Our reports are uploaded securely to the cloud for each client, who can then log in and view the full report for each asset from any location and and internet able device (such as iPads and smartphones).
All of our equipment undergoes a stringent sterilisation procedure before entering any potable water asset to ensure that no contamination of drinking water is possible. Feel free to contact us for a copy of our sterilisation procedure and potable water tank methodology. |
Underwater High Definition Reservoir Inspections
Inspection of a Potable water tank showing various debris that can be found
Internal roof inspection of a potable water reservoir
Reservoir inlets, outlets and overflows all need to be inspected on a regular basis
High megapixel still images are provided of all assets within the water reservoir, as well as any debris, defect, or biological material
Aerial High Definition Reservoir Inspections
Initial flyover of a large Potable Water Reservoir
Aerial inspections provide an extremely safe and efficient method of potable water reservoir inspection, enabling high definition and ultra high definition footage to be captured of areas typically non accessible by people. By equipping a range of different cameras to our UAVs - such as FLIR, wide angle, and inspection - our surveys can offer the confidence required by engineers and asset management to make critical decisions.
