Standard Definition Seamor
Standard Definition Seamor from ROV Innovations on Vimeo. This is an example of the Seamor standard definition, high resolution camera that comes standard with all of the Seamor range of Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs). This footage was recorded on the Gold Coast - Visibility was about 7m, low current, but there was an intermittent surge of around 1m. Uploaded July 22, 2015 at 05:08AM

Freshwater Dam Inspection from ROV Innovations on Vimeo. This video is an abridged freshwater dam inspection carried out in central Queensland, Australia. The original video was shot with a High Definition Seamor ROV in 1080p25 format. Being in a freshwater dam, the water was extremely turbid with visibility only approx 20cm. The Secuquest Vision Clear Enhancement hardware was used to increase underwater visibility, and restore natural colouration to the underwater assets.Uploaded July 12, 2015 at 07:21AM Snapper Rocks Environmental Survey from ROV Innovations on Vimeo. This video is a short extract form an underwater survey conducted at Snapper Rocks, on the border between New South Wales and Queensland, Australia. Environmental conditions on the day were quite poor, with heavy clouds, rain squalls, 1.5m swell and a 2m surge on the reef areas. Footage collected with a Seamor High Definition ROV, originally recorded in 1080p25Uploaded July 09, 2015 at 07:08AM
Conditions on the day were extremely average, with rain squalls coming through every 30 minutes which hampered the topside equipment, and there was a 2-3 meter surge around the shallower snapper rocks site. Even with these conditions, the high definition camera on the ROV managed to capture awesome footage of the marine benthic community at all sites, allowing the ecologists at FRC to identify with confidence a myriad of species for their report.

The ROV Innovations Inspection team flew up to Mackay on Wednesday with Brian from Neptune Marine to assist SunWater in the inspection of some of their underwater assets an Eungella Dam. The Inspection consisted of two components, initially looking at the sealing of one of its outlet pipes, and secondly finding and inspecting a submerged concrete pipeline outlet tower. The combination of the High Definition Sony camera in the ROV, additional LED lighting, as well as the VisionClear video enhancer, allowed the Sunwater engineers to confidently assess the situation 35m below on the dam floor. Our Imagenex positioning sonar also enabled us to quickly and efficiently locate the submerged intake tower that rose up to 28m depth, something that prior inspection companies couldn't locate due to the original tech drawings of the dams construction being inaccurate. Due to the enhanced video feed, HD video, and Sonar, we were able to complete all aspects of the inspection and provide a live view of the assets to the SunWater Engineers. The dam inspection was completed within 4 hours, with the SunWater team being extremely impressed with the ROV and all tech provided by the ROV Innovations and Neptune Marine collaboration.
