ROV Innovations will be exhibiting at Australia’s largest oil and gas event, the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference (AOG) from 19-21 February. Largest event of its kind With a record number of international exhibitors, this year’s event will be the biggest yet, expanding to Level 2 of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre for the first time. Over three huge days, visitors will discover the latest products and services from ROV Innovations and more than 550 exhibitors from 20 countries showcasing the innovations in oil and gas technology, covering the full spectrum of the industry from exploration and production technology to gas processing, pipelines, offshore services, engineering, design and construction. Conference transformed Away from the bustling exhibition floor, the AOG conference will tackle the latest issues facing the oil and gas industry in an expanded program comprising fifteen streams and a series of high-profile local and international speakers. One of the most eagerly anticipated sessions, the Plenary stream, will bring together some of the industry’s leading figures, including Minister for Commerce, Hon. Bill Marmion, Chevron Australia’s General Manager Gerry Flaherty and Shell’s Country Chair Australia, Andrew Smith. The merging of the Subsea Australasia Conference with the AOG Conference will give delegates access to more content and a greater range of sessions with subsea streams incorporated. Networking and social events AOG 2014 will offer a host of social events and networking areas for visitors to develop and strengthen business relationships. The impressive range of social functions at this year’s AOG includes the sell-out AOG Opening Party and Official AOG Dinner, each offering a night of great food, drinks and entertainment. Dinner attendees will also have the chance to win a signed Manchester United jersey in the raffle on the night thanks to Aurecon. New to the line-up are the Subsea Welcome Drinks and the Safety Outcomes breakfast hosted by the Safety Institute of Australia (S.I.A) and IFAP (Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention) with a panel of guests from Woodside Energy, Curtin University and Chevron Australia. Throughout the event there will also be a range of food and refreshments available onsite, including the popular Schenker Australia Bratwurst Bar, Matrix Oyster Bar, Murphy Pipe and Civil Juice Bar and, new for 2014, paella being served at the Skilled Offshore Subsea Bar.
